Marilyn is Magnum’s August Poster Girl

Among the latest batch of posters now available from Magnum Photos are two images of Marilyn reading: above, in Eve Arnold‘s 1955 Ulysses series; and below, captured by Elliott Erwitt on the set of The Seven Year Itch in 1954.

There’s also another Eve Arnold poster of Marilyn hugging her canine co-star Tom Dooley during filming of The Misfits in 1960. All three posters are sized at 18 x 24″, and are available for £60 each or framed for £175.

A number of fine prints are also available for £1,100 upwards, including a contact sheet from the Erwitt session, and a signed print from Erwitt himself (at £17,950.)

You can also order further prints by Arnold and her Magnum colleagues Cornell Capa, Bob Henriques, and Erich Hartmann.

And finally, limited edition posters of Marilyn, taken by Dennis Stock during filming of There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954), are available from £100; and prints of a jet-setting Marilyn in 1960 (also by Stock) from £1,800.
