All About Eve goes from the east to west coast with two special screenings in March. Next Sunday, March 6 at 12 pm, the supreme stage satire makes it to the United Palace on Broadway, NYC, with an introduction by theatrical luminaries Lin-Manuel Miranda and Patti LuPone. Admission is free but tickets are going fast – reserve yours here.
And then, on March 12 at 7:30 pm, All About Eve will be showing in 35 mm at the historic New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles in tribute to Edith Head, who designed the gowns worn by leading lady Bette Davis (see here.) However, the other cast members – including Marilyn – were dressed by Charles LeMaire, who would ultimately share the Oscar for Best Costume Design with Miss Head.
