Some Like It Hot is showing this Saturday, June 17th, at the historic Eureka Theatre in Humboldt County, Northern California – with a guest appearance from one of Sweet Sue’s Society Syncopators, the all-girl jazz band led by Marilyn in the movie. Built in the Art Moderne style, the venue first opened in 1939 and is currently undergoing restoration.
Admission is $10 for adults, or $5 for kids up to 12. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the film starts at 7:30. There’s also a costume contest, with prizes galore.
