In addition to an upcoming screening of The Seven Year Itch at the Orpheum Theatre (see here), Los Angelenos have another great option for celebrating Marilyn’s 98th birthday on Saturday, June 1st. Despite rumoured ghostly sightings, Marilyn never lived at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and didn’t start her modelling career there, but she did show up for a poolside photo shoot in 1952.
Nonetheless, the Roosevelt has been marking this anniversary in style for several years now, and Marilyn’s 98th birthday will be no exception…
