The St. Cloud Veterans Memorial Library in Osecola County, Florida will be screening a documentary, Discovering Marilyn Monroe, at 3:30 pm next Monday, August 5, on the 62nd anniversary of her death. This 43-minute programme was made in the UK, and first broadcast in 2011 as the first episode of a long-running series, Stars of the Silver Screen – later renamed as Discovering Film.
Featuring interviews with Misfits co-star Eli Wallach, Curtice Taylor (son of the film’s producer, Frank Taylor), and Angela Allen (script supervisor to director John Huston), plus commentary from film critics Derek Malcolm and Ian Nathan, Discovering Marilyn Monroe is also available on Prime Video and Kanopy for viewers in the US.
