An Eve Arnold retrospective opens on September 19, at the Liss Gallery in Toronto, Canada with a private view of her ‘untold portraits‘ of Marilyn, introduced by her grandson, Michael Arnold. The full exhibition goes public on September 20, closing on October 4.
In addition to Eve’s photos – such as this lesser-seen image from the so-called ‘Venus Sitting’ of 1960, shown below – prints by some of Marilyn’s other photographers (including George S. Zimbel, Ed Feingersh, and Bert Stern) are also available to purchase.
And finally, don’t miss this rare series by Ken Heyman, showing Marilyn with Arthur Miller and his parents at home in Roxbury, Connecticut, shortly before their wedding in 1956.
