Kathleen Hughes, star of It Came From Outer Space, has died aged 96. As well as playing the ‘bad girl’ in cult movies and appearing on numerous TV shows, she was married to River of No Return producer Stanley Rubin for sixty years. She befriended many stars from Hollywood’s golden age, including the ultimate blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe – and alongside her husband, and cousin Diana Herbert, she was a much-loved guest at the annual services hosted by Marilyn Remembered at Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
