Marilyn’s two hit movies with director Billy Wilder are featured in a bumper series of classic Hollywood comedies at the Lumière Institute in Lyon. The Seven Year Itch (1955) is showing on December 6, 12, and 18; and Some Like It Hot (1959) on December 10, 11, and 26.
And further screenings of Some Like It Hot are coming to the Chavanelle Cinema in Saint-Étienne, and the Villeneuve Cinema in Villeneuve-la-Garenne (December 6); L’Aiglon Cinema in Orne, and Ciné 104 in Pantin (December 14); plus the François Truffaut Cinema in Chilly-Mazarin, and Paris Cinema Club (TBA.)
