‘Some Like It Hot’ in the USA and Canada

Some Like It Hot is showing at the New Parkway Theatre in Oakland, California on Monday, February 23, at 6:30 pm. This screening will be introduced by Avy Valladares, concluding the 100 Years of Movies series hosted by Berkeley City College.

Also on Monday, Some Like It Hot is showing at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, Canada at 7:30 pm – and as part of the Craft Club Cinema series, it’s preceded by an (optional) embroidery workshop at 6 pm.

“Craft Club Cinema returns after high demand for its third edition with a playful, glamorous screening of Billy Wilder’s iconic film Some Like It Hot. Bring your knitting, embroidery, sketchbook, crochet, colouring books, any craft you’re currently loving (or curious to try!) and settle in for a cute and cozy evening of making + movie magic. Grab your tickets fast as this event often sells out!

We’ll keep the lights soft so you can stitch, sketch, and create while Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon light up the screen. Whether you’re a dedicated maker, experimenting with a new hobby, or just want to pop in and see what all the fuss is about, Craft Club Cinema is all about slowing down, connecting, and enjoying a communal crafting movie experience.”

And finally, Some Like It Hot gets another big-screen outing at the Empire Theatre in Livingston, Montana on Wednesday, February 25 at 7 pm, concluding a month-long Rom-Com (Ish) Wednesdays series.
