A Manhattan apartment which was once the home and workplace of Marilyn’s psychoanalyst is on sale for $1.12 million, the New York Post reports. Dr. Margaret Hohenberg treated Marilyn from 1955-57 (with sessions most weekdays), and they remained in touch until Marilyn’s death.
“Sleep where Marilyn Monroe spent a lot of her time while living in New York. This 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath prewar cooperative apartment is the former home and office of Dr. Margaret Hohenberg, Marilyn’s long-time psychiatrist. The elegant maisonette is located on the most charming tree-lined block in Carnegie Hill. All of the windows are above pedestrian level and face south onto a beautiful row of townhouses. With easy access off the attended lobby, this sophisticated home is perfect for any lifestyle, from starters to down-sizers.” – Compass
