Following a recent pictorial on Marilyn’s swimwear shoots, the French e-zine Crazy for You looks back at another photo session from 1950, with LIFE photographer Edward Clark in 1950. As Marilyn was still a fairly unknown quantity in movies (though not for much longer), Clark’s enchanting images were rejected, and – rather incredibly – remained unseen until LIFE unveiled its digital archives in 2008.
