This gelatin print of Marilyn rehearsing a scene for The Misfits in the Nevada desert – with photographer Eve Arnold’s signature on the verso – has sold for $1,625 at Swann Gallery New York, as part of a Focus on Women event. (The highest selling item was a letter penned by Little Women author Louisa May Alcott, which sold for $23,750.)
