The flesh-tone Travilla gown worn by Marilyn for her ‘After You Get What You Want (You Don’t Want It)’ number in There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954) has been sold for $218,750 at the ‘Hollywood Legends’ event hosted by Julien’s Auctions. The matching corsets won by Marilyn and Jane Russell in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes fetched $102,400; the Joseff of Hollywood earrings sported by Marilyn in publicity shots for How to Marry a Millionaire reached $81,250; her evening gown from The Fireball sold for $43,750; and her pink blouse from Let’s Make Love fetched $37,500.
