Celebrating Marilyn’s Movies at Babylon Berlin

A ten-day Monroe retrospective begins at BABYLON Berlin on Monday, April 3rd, featuring fifteen of her best movies – from a breakout role in The Asphalt Jungle (1950) to a poignant  swansong, The Misfits (1961.) The portrait of Marilyn shown above was captured in 1953 by the German-born Alfred Eisenstaedt, who had launched his career in Berlin before he moved to America in 1935, and made his name as one of the world’s leading photojournalists during a long tenure at LIFE magazine.
