A month-long free series, Marilyn Monroe: The Blonde on the Big Screen is running each Saturday at 4 pm throughout August at CONARTE in Monterrey, Mexico, as Avimex News reports. Still to come are The Seven Year Itch (August 12th); Bus Stop (August 19th) and Some Like It Hot (August 26th.)
While Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and The Seven Year Itch kept their original titles in translation, Bus Stop was renamed as Nunca Fui Santa (‘I Was Never a Saint’) for its Mexican release. And in a nod to its gender-swap theme, Some Like It Hot was rebranded as Una Eva Y Dos Adanes (‘One Eve and Two Adams.’)
