The Asphalt Jungle is showing in three Danish cities this month. Often described as a ‘film without stars’ due to its cast of character actors, this noir classic originally gave Marilyn eleventh billing in the credits. The poster shown above was created after its initial release in 1950, to capitalise on her subsequent rise to fame.
