Last month, a set of 11 large-size original photos of Marilyn by Andre de Dienes – from the estate of celebrity makeup artist and Monroe superfan, the late Kim Goodwin – went under the hammer at Nate G. Sanders Auctions (see here.) Unfortunately, the photos went unsold but will hopefully get another chance to find a new home now the collection has been profiled in the September 20 issue of US magazine Closer Weekly (with Marilyn’s Actors Studio alumni Beatrice Arthur on the cover.)
